Monitoring
Science-based solutions
The Partnership developed streamflow and water use management plans for each watershed using the best available science. Streamflow, habitat, and fish monitoring data were used to correlate coho salmon survival and growth to streamflow and flow-related habitat parameters over the dry season. GIS cumulative impact models were created to help develop management objectives that ensure adequate protections for fish.
With a sound scientific foundation, the Partnership, landowners, and water users identified solutions that improved streamflows and water reliability.
